Refunds & Exchanges Policy

Mink Hair Extensions

We take great care in sourcing and supplying high-quality human hair extensions and professional home-care products. Please read the following policy carefully before placing your order.

Change-of-Mind Exchanges (7 Days)

We understand that selecting the correct colour online can be challenging. For this reason, we offer exchange only (not refunds) under the following conditions:
    •    Exchanges are available within seven (7) days of receiving your order
    •    Hair extensions must be completely unopened, unworn, unused and untampered with
    •    The original packaging must be intact, unmarked and unaltered
    •    Any security seals must remain unbroken
    •    Proof of purchase (invoice) is required

Once eligibility is confirmed, you may exchange your item for an alternative colour of the same product, subject to availability.

Hygiene & Safety Policy

Due to hygiene and public health considerations, hair extensions and home-care products cannot be exchanged or refunded once opened.

Human hair extensions are classified as a hygienic product. For the safety of all clients, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any items that have been opened, worn, altered, installed, brushed, coloured, washed, or removed from their original packaging.

This policy aligns with standard professional practices across the hair-extension industry.

No Refunds on Hair Extensions or Home-Care Products

Please note:
    •    We do not offer refunds for change of mind
    •    We do not offer refunds on hair extensions or home-care products
    •    Exchanges are the only option available, and only where the conditions above are met

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product:
    •    Is faulty or defective
    •    Is not as described
    •    Is not of acceptable quality
    •    Is not fit for purpose

These rights apply regardless of whether the product has been opened, where a genuine fault exists.

How to Request an Exchange
    1.    Email us at hello@minkhair.com.au within 7 days of delivery
    2.    Include your order number and reason for exchange
    3.    Await confirmation and return instructions before sending any items
    4.    Ship the item back unopened, in original condition, with your invoice included

Returned items will be inspected upon arrival. Exchanges will not be issued if the item does not meet the eligibility criteria.

When Will My Exchange Be Sent?

Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, your replacement item will be dispatched promptly. You will receive confirmation once your exchange has been processed.
